About Foxyripper
In 2005 I started to work as DTP operator. It was a good job to start from — still too technological, but it deal with graphic design and I could learn a lot about technological basis of my future work as a designer. In 2007 I got a job in design studio as a prepress operator/designer. There wasn’t so much work for me as a designer, but now in 2008 the position I hold is changing to “designer” as a result of my self-improvement and a progress as creative worker. And my aim is to gain an art-directors position. The other choice fore the future is a freelance illustrator (magazines, books etc.)
This progress is a result of different activities and interests. In fact it is a mixture of artists, designers, directors, musicians and my student work while studying on Foundation level. I think it’s not so easy to tell what really influences me and what doesn’t. Every thing that I see and hear comes through me.
But of course graphic designers, illustrators and painter influence me much more. When I was a child I had problems with such things as getting comics to read. Maybe that is the reason for my love to them. I love the way stunning illustrations go along with sometimes outstanding narrative.
Now studying on level 1 of British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow.
